Some Raisin Bran Muffins produced by JE Bakery 2019, LLC are being recalled due to undeclared nuts.
According to a written statement on the Food and Drug Administration website, “the affected product was mislabeled and instead contains Glorious Morning Muffins, which contains Walnuts, a known allergen not declared on the label.”
The muffins are sold in a clear, six-pack container and were branded with the following names: Country Market, Cub Foods, and Jerrys Foods. Those 12-ounce containers of muffins had Feb. 18, 2025, printed on it as the sell-by date, in addition to a universal product code (UPC) of 0 29341-00233, the written statement detailed.
While the stores that sold the muffins have pulled them off the shelves, it is up to the customer to return the purchased muffins to the store they were bought at — that way, the customer can receive a refund for the tainted muffins
The mislabeling of the muffins “was discovered when one of our retail locations reported the error,” the statement explained.
Thus far, no one has conveyed any illness from consuming the muffins, though someone with a walnut allergy could face “a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the mislabeled product.”
The muffins were sold in Minnesota’s Twin Cities. Should any customers have queries about the muffins or the recall, they are encouraged to reach out to the store where they were purchased or to the company directly.
